They are actually delicious. When you cook them over the fire, they crisp up and they taste like the skin of a roasted chicken. The inside is creamy and cooks just like the chicken egg yolk. So crunchy like chicken skin and creamy like eggs. It's funny how people get grossed out by things. We grind up cows and eat them up ... we skin pigs and chop chicken feet off the poor things. I suppose its more appetizing if you give the meat a pretty name 🙂

I traveled to the desert once when i was young and ate them frequently. They're really not bad tasting at all but i can totally understand about the appearance lol.
